Fuel indicator
Purpose and scope
The fuel indicator on the instrument panel of a vehicle is usually inaccurate and incorrect. The driver lacks information about the amount of fuel in the tanks, which is crucial information when:
Determining the exact amount of fuel in the vehicle when drivers’ handover their shifts;
Avoiding refueling the vehicle when operating;
Calculating consumed fuel after completion of work;
Many other cases.
It is known that data obtained through standards fuel meters is inaccurate. The fuel level indicator shows the current amount of fuel in the first, second (if any), and total amount in both reservoirs of the vehicle by reading accurate data from the LLS sensor. Quick and precise fuel levels in vehicles can be precisely determined with the fuel level indicator.
Stucture and way of working
Consists of a fuel level indicator connected to the LLS sensor. The device is mounted in the cabin of the vehicle in any suitable, visible spot. The indicator reads data from the fuel level sensor LLS and converts it into measurement units – liters, and shows it on the display.
Advantages
Universality of exploitation;
Can be used with all FMS systems, but only together with LLS fuel level sensors;
Multifunctional;
Shows total amount of fuel in vehicles and shows volume or fuel levels in percentages or in measurement units (liters);
Low prices;
Price of indicator is very affordable considering the precision of fuel control. The most economical option allows tracking vehicle fuel levels by placing an ID indicator with digital LLS fuel level sensors;
Can be installed on all types of commercial vehicles;
Temperature stability;
Fuel level indicator works steadily in temperature range of -40° to +70°;
Precision;
Tolerance in determining fuel levels is 1%, and the IG indicators allows you to see measured values in steps of 1L;
Easy installation and configuration - less than half an hour for installation and setting of indicator;
Special software interface makes it easy to set up.
